The Beginning

Here we are at the very start of the Thread & Thumbsticks journey! My name is Stitchley, and I have started this company to share my passion for both video games and cross-stitching. I figured this was probably an unusual combination, so perhaps there’s a chance I could build a little corner of the Internet where people who enjoy one or the other could find kindred spirits.

My goal for Thread & Thumbsticks is to create engaging content along three different axes: videos and streams of the creation of geeky cross-stitches, videos and streams of video game play, and finally, videos of the process of creating and building the business and the channel. I have never done anything like this before – this is my first business I’ve owned, and will be the first time making content for YouTube, so I figure including everyone in the whole process could be interesting as well.

Right at the start, it’s important to note that this is a side-gig for me; I have a full-time job at Blizzard Entertainment, but Thread & Thumbsticks is not connected to Blizzard and anything I say here and in the videos and streams represent my personal views, and do not reflect the views of Blizzard in any way.
